A One Day Student Extension Activity on “Child Health & Hygiene” Awareness Program for villagers was organized by School of Life and Basic Sciences, Jaipur National University, Jaipur in collaboration with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (A Joint Effort Ministry of Education & IIT Delhi) on 3rd February, 2024. The resource person of the program was Dr. Alok Kumar Varshney, Scientist (Birla Institute of Scientific Research, Jaipur). The objective of the activity were:

To educate parents and caregivers about the importance of child health and hygiene.

To raise awareness about common childhood illnesses and preventive measures.

To promote good hygiene practices among children.
Dr. Varshney discussed on Child Health & Hygiene with the villagers. He also educated the locals regarding Cleanliness and its role in prevention of infections. By organizing comprehensive awareness programs like this, empowered parents, caregivers, and communities to prioritize child health and hygiene thus ensuring every child has the opportunity to grow up healthy and thrive.
