A one day workshop on Auto-CAD was organized by the department. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Bhargawa. The aim of the workshop was to show the importance of AutoCAD as it is widely used in the civil engineering field due to its ability to plan sites a lot easier then hand drawings. According to his statements if anyone wants to draft any civil engineering structure (2D, 3D) such as buildings, bridges, roads, drainage, pipeline, dams, intersection etc. with accuracy and speed then it can be easily done with the help of AutoCAD.
