In a two-day program, the resource person Mr. Dharmendra Choudhary (HCM, RIPA) addressed various issues related to child protection and child violence especially against girls. The speaker pointed the new forms and channels like, mobile and digital technologies that are further escalating the child abuse and exploitation through online bullying, stalking and harassment. The students learnt about important legislations and policies in India to safeguard the rights of children like, Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act,Child Marriage Restraint Act, etc.
