The department of English, School of Languages Literature and Society organized Haiku Poetry competition on 1ST March 2021 from 1.30 pm to 3.30pm in the presence of the Head Department of English Dr. Rana Zaidi and all the faculty members of the department of English. Dr. Rakhi Gupta was the faculty coordinator of the event. All the students of the department participated in the programme. The students were given three impromptu pictures as the source of inspiration and reference to write their Haiku Poetry. The programme ended up with the address of the HOD Dr. Rana Zaidi where she discussed about the importance of the creation of various art forms for stress relief. She also suggested methods of improving the creative writing.
