A Guest lecture on the topic “Career prospects for Food Technologist in R & D” was organized for B.Tech. Food Technology (VII semester) students. In this session students focused towards R&D activities of Hersheys India Pvt. Ltd.. The speaker was Mr. Dipankar Biswas, who is Alumni of the Department of Food Technology and currently working in Hershey India Private Limited, Surendranagar, Gujarat as R&D officer. He is having more than 6 years of working experience in various food sectors. Speaker spoke about his endeavors and life experiences and appraised students about the various opportunities of food technologist in confectionary industries.
