A Guest Speaker session was organized on the topic “Career prospects for Food Technologist in breweries, distilleries and abroad”. Total 80 students of B.Tech. Food Technology (II, IV & VI semester) attended the session. It was an interactive session which gives advantage to students to know about various career opportunities of a food technologist as well as they came to know Role & Responsibilities of Food Technologist in breweries and distilleries.
The speaker was Mr. Saurabh Soni, who is Alumni of the Department of Food Technology and currently working as Big Five Breweries Ltd, Nairobi, Kenya (East Africa) as Production Manager with more than 9+ years of experience. Speaker spoke about his endeavors and life experiences and appraised students about the various opportunities of food technologist in food industries.
