National policy of education embodies the needs, ideals and aspirations of the people of a free nation. School of Education imparts the knowledge of teaching, learning and evaluation through developing all kinds of competencies keeping in mind the national spirit and national system of education.
Scenario
Transition, Transformation and Revolution is the scenario of today's educational system. It is a challenge to use new technologies to impart knowledge and develop skills . At School Education, prospective teachers are educated to embrace technology in their teaching, learning and evaluation process. Merely using technology will not impact the education process alone. Pedagogical competencies along with content competencies will pave the way to effective teaching. Future teachers are facilitated in merging the content pedagogy and technology in the classroom learning processes.
Instructional Strategies
Students centric, modern day methods and alternative instructional strategies are the hallmark of teacher education program. Attaining mastery of content, pedagogical and technical competencies and their integration prepares pupil teachers into skilled and professional teachers. School of Education has opened new vistas for them.
