The main objective of this Workshop was to make the students aware with the conceptual as well as practical knowledge of the Industrial Automation & latest technologies being used to achieve Industrial Automation using "Programmable Logic Controller", commonly known as PLC. Along with a few other components (Sensors, Motors, Actuators, Drives, SCADA Systems, Computers etc), PLC makes a real automated manufacturing plant. After completion of workshop the participants learned about the Updates in automation technology used in industry, Programming Logic Control (PLC), Distributed Control System (DCS) Drives, communication, Supervisory Control and Data acquisition (SCADA), Human Machine Interface (HMI) ,Participants were also given hands-on practical exposure by conducting lab sessions.
