Solid works is a 3D mechanical design system that enables virtual prototyping, assembly, simulation and finally output as native or open format 3D models, or as drawings. Plugins are available for electrical design, FEA, optical rendering, electromagnetic simulation and more. One day workshop on Solid Works by CADD Desk was organized for students of B.Tech Mechanical by Mechanical Engineering Department, School of Engineering and Technology, Jaipur National University, Jaipur. Mr. Nitin Choyal and Mr. Rajeev Bhargava delivered the lecturer. The workshop covered various aspects of Create parametric 3D models to design and build mechanical parts and assemblies, Evaluate computer models based on critical thinking and problem solving skills, Apply Parametric Modeling to manufacturing and engineering concepts., Setup sheets for plotting with text, dimensions, and details.
