This course aims to provide the student with an elementary understanding of the basic principles of administration and its applications to the management of wards and health units. The objectives of the course include describing the meaning and principle of Ward administration, applying the principle of ward administration in practice of nursing in various healthcare settings, planning the nursing service in the ward and community health settings and describing the importance of good ward administration in day-to-day nursing services in varied health care settings.
