The fundamentals of casting and splinting techniques are important for the safety and management of various orthopaedic conditions. The Certificate course in Orthopaedic Plaster Technology comprises theoretical, laboratory and clinical practice. The clinical practice includes the clinical examination and evaluation of individual patients in order to prescribe and deliver the appropriate lower limb orthotic or prosthesis to the patient.
