Seminar on Art of Mind Control
Students of Seedling School of Law and Governance, Jaipur National University, had an enriching experience with Akshay Patra Sansthan, an initiative of Hare Krishna Movement which conducted 2 hours seminar on Art of Mind Control. The Seedling School of Law and Governance Moot Court Hall was filled to brim with bubbling students fascinated by Ananta Shesha Dasâ€™s presentation for Knowledge Imparting Program. The presentation focused on how can one understand his mind and improve its ability to operate better. Ananta Das used practical experiments on stage to teach using volunteers from the attendees. He talked about the importance of â€œBhagwat Gitaâ€ in our day to day life for all. Thereafter the principle introduced the speaker with presenting bouquet. After the introduction, the mic was handover to the speaker. He started his introduction with Bhagwat Gita prayer where students were joined with the same. He showed beautiful video on how to control the mind and emphasize on the importance of mind control.
Ananta Shesha Das believed that a cool, calm, composed and controlled mind is everyoneâ€™s desire but most of us fail to harness the true potential of our mind. He pointed out, â€œMany of us constantly get agitated by the unwarranted dictum of our mind which makes our life chaotic. People mostly commit suicide not because of any physical reason but only because of mental miseries.â€ He guided students specialized guided imagery techniques to rewire their subconscious and negative programming, tap into their true potential and achieve their goals. He has explained about Mind and its behavior and how habits train mind and it convert into attitude. He has explored the different problem of students related to concentration during study and volatile memory problems. He discussed the current scenario. He shared the experience of live case studies. He solved queries of students regarding mind related problems. Mr. Das explained that humans are not machines; they cannot give you real happiness. He said mind is like a knife; only user can decide what to do with it. Mr. Das said that in a nodus situation where we cannot decide the right path he suggested how to take the wise decision. He talked about value system, implication of Indian culture etc. He suggested the various technique or methods to control the mind like physical, spiritual & mental methods. Mr. Das described the importance of mantra; itâ€™s like verbal & sound meditation. They deliver the knowledge to remove anxiety & compunctions.
He has explained each and every detail about the mind control with the help of examples. Students were highly enthusiasm to learn. At last he told the secret of mind control and control thorough the simple powerful mantra â€œHare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hareâ€. He chanted this mantra along with students and students had felt the change themselves. The session was highly beneficial for the students while facing upcoming social change. Students were motivated regarding good habits, how to train mind. The session ended with an activity of sound meditation.
