Guest Lecture by Alumni in Department of Food Technology

A guest lecture was organized on the topic “Importance of Sensory Analysis and Consumer Behaviour in the field of Food Technology” by Dept. of Food Technology on Saturday, 21st Dec. 2019. Total of 70 students of B.Tech. Food Technology (I, III & V and VII semester) attended the session. It was an interactive session which helped the students to know about sensory sciences and consumer behaviour opportunities in the field of research and industrial application.

The guest speaker was Mr. Rajesh Kumar, who is Alumni (Batch 2005- 2009) of the Department of Food Technology and currently doing research work at Kansas State University, Manhattan, USA and also working with Nestle, USA. Speaker spoke about his endeavours and life experiences and appraised students about the various opportunities of food technologist in food industries and academics.
