AAHAR Food Expo visit, Food Tech. Visit
Aahar was organized by ITPO, supported by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries and Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority in association with ARCHI, AIFPA and HOTREMAI. The fair was scheduled to be held at the Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from March 12 - 16, 2019. AAHAR - International Food & Hospitality Fair was a flagship fair focusing on improving food standards in India.
This event showcases products like Fresh Produce & Dairy Products, Confectionery, Chocolate, Desserts, Bakery Products & Ingredients Organic & Health Products, Frozen, Canned & Processed Products, Meat, Poultry & Sea Foods, Cheese & Fine Specialty Food, Snacks & Convenience Food, Food Ingredients, Additives and Preservatives Coffee & Tea, Syrups, Juices & Energy Drinks in the Food and Beverages industry. Department of Food Technology of Jaipur National University visited AAHAR-2019 on 14th March, 2019 at the Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. A batch of 25 students of B.Tech. Food Technology IV semester actively visited the fair.
The students of B.Tech. Food Technology visited the stalls of all Airlines/Cruise lines/ Railway Foods suppliers/Retailers/Mega Food Chains, Government Food Policy Makers, Food Industries, Service Providers/Consultants, Food & Drink Importers/ Distributors/ Wholesalers, IT-System Integration/Distribution Plants.
