The Doctoral programme in English is aimed at training professionals and teachers in the skills and competencies related to the systematic investigation of various issues and problems in their chosen areas of literary studies.  With a Ph.D. degree in English one can enter academic professions as Assistant/Associate Professors in Colleges and Universities.
