This programme is designed to meet the advanced interests of the students of English Studies in selected areas.

Its aim is to help the student develop ability to organize ideas and present them coherently with a considerable degree of sophistication in keeping with the norms of scholarly research and writing. This should be reflected in the dissertation to be submitted by the student for evaluation and the award of the degree of Master of Philosophy.

Graduation with Eng. with Min. II Division and 55% in M.A. for Ph.D.
