The School of Fashion Design organized a Cultural Enrichment Activity and Heritage Runway on 6th August 2024 to celebrate National Handloom Day. This event aimed to honor India's rich handloom textile tradition and cultivate a deeper appreciation for cultural heritage among students. The day's program included a variety of engaging activities that highlighted the significance of traditional craftsmanship while offering a creative and educational experience. The event featured informative presentations, a fashion quiz, and a fashion show, where students showcased handloom-inspired attires. The Heritage Runway was a standout feature, with students walking the ramp in handloom textiles, reflecting their creativity and respect for traditional fashion. The celebration was further enriched with traditional music and dance performances, adding to the festive and cultural atmosphere.
